The Credit Union Twittersphere: Filtered
I thought this would be a cool way to demonstrate the power of filtering and trending on a "micro" level. This pages indexes Credit Unions that are currently on Twitter. (Over 300 accounts...a very small number in comparison to Twitter site-wide trending.) For many people that follow the CU industry, it's important to know what different Credit Unions are saying on Twitter, but subscribing to each one would not be any fun.
Through this page, anyone interested in the CU industry can keep tabs on what is trending across the various Credit Union accounts. I've even thrown in a date range form, in case you miss a day or would just like to see the last week in aggregate. It currently lags about 3 hours behind being "real-time", but I hope to close that gap down to under 30 minutes over the coming weeks.
I hope you find it useful and that it gets you excited about the possibilities of creating your own grouping and finding your own trends, not just in Twitter, but in the Firehose of information you are fed daily.

This commonly happens for a few minutes around 7pm central. (This is when the 'new day' starts in UTC time.) Don't worry, there'll be tweets a plenty here soon.
